Digital Portfolio

Fascinated by the interlace of architecture and environmentally conscious design, I spent the past two years helping start up a local green warehouse store, called New Living. While working for New Living, my contributions included researching cutting edge sustainable materials and endeavoring to make new eco-friendly and transformational products more accessible to the architecture industry in Houston. I was able to advise multiple commercial projects on the benefits of green building materials and enhanced environmental design practices using my knowledge of sustainable design.

While extremely rewarded by this experience, my daily interaction with architects reminded me that my true passion remained in the design and integration of environmentally conscious material. I longed for my prior experience as a junior architect at Lamme+Misi Urban Design Studio in Austin, TX. There I built a solid base in practical design application, ranging from interior design and procurement to technical documentation and multimedia presentations. I worked under challenging deadlines, attended to multiple client demands and navigated the tedious bureaucracy that stands between land acquisition and a sale.

I am currently in the process of registering for LEED certification in addition to the Intern Development Program in pursuit of my licensure.
